PUCS is back for 2022!

Due to WA’s current COVID-19 caseload, we plan to begin our 2022 season online. We will be starting our weekly rehearsals on Monday 4 April with online sectionals. As the caseloads ease, PUCS plans to return to physical rehearsals with restrictions in line with the health advice. PUCS is aiming to perform a concert at some stage this year but are currently keeping plans fluid. We will keep you updated on our plans moving forward!

If you have any questions or concerns about our COVID-19 rehearsal policies or 2022 plans, please contact us at: info@pucs.org.au

About PUCS

The Perth Undergraduate Choral Society (PUCS) is a non-auditioned community choir based at the University of Western Australia and has been a part of WA's choral landscape for over 60 years. PUCS aims to provide a supportive environment for all singers, regardless of previous training or experience, while still maintaining the high musical standards our audiences have come to love.

Although PUCS has traditionally been an undergraduate choir, our membership is not limited to students. We currently have a range of members, including undergraduate students, postgraduate students, full-time workers and retirees ... Anyone who enjoys singing is welcome!

PUCS rehearses on Monday evenings from 7-9 pm at Bradley Studio at UWA. We have two main rehearsal seasons per year, running alongside university semester dates. These semesters each include a rehearsal camp weekend, fun social events, and culminate in an amazing concert. Following the second semester, PUCS also has a short carols season to prepare for our various carols performances each December.
