Join us for Semester 2!

We are excited to begin rehearsals on Monday, August 1 at Royal Park Hall, West Perth. This will be a very special semester as we will fill St Mary's Cathedral with the beautiful sounds of Marc-Antoine Charpentier's Te Deum, Benjamin Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb, and Michael Tippett's Five Spirituals and Eriks Esenvalds' Stars. We will also be joined by the St. Mary's Cathedral Choir and Chamber Chorus, and notable organist Jacinta Jakovcevik.

About PUCS

The Perth Undergraduate Choral Society (PUCS) is a non-auditioned community choir based at the University of Western Australia and has been a part of WA's choral landscape for over 60 years. PUCS aims to provide a supportive environment for all singers, regardless of previous training or experience, while still maintaining the high musical standards our audiences have come to love.

Although PUCS has traditionally been an undergraduate choir, our membership is not limited to students. We currently have a range of members, including undergraduate students, postgraduate students, full-time workers and retirees ... Anyone who enjoys singing is welcome!

PUCS rehearses on Monday evenings from 7-9 pm at Bradley Studio at UWA. We have two main rehearsal seasons per year, running alongside university semester dates. These semesters each include a rehearsal camp weekend, fun social events, and culminate in an amazing concert. Following the second semester, PUCS also has a short carols season to prepare for our various carols performances each December.
